Rate limits
API connections enforce limits on how frequently calls can be made to external services. Administrators can override default limits per connection to accommodate higher tier API plans or custom agreements.
Only system administration accounts having the Switch Account permission can override connection rate limits as described in this section.
Each app connection can have a default rate limit defined for making API calls. See Default Rate Limit
Some API providers allow their customers to purchase a higher API rate limit.
The default connection rate limit can be overridden from the automation editor's Connections screen, by clicking on a connection's yield icon:

Specify the desired rate limit for the connection and click Apply:

The system immediately begins to use the adjusted rate limit throttle.
In the above example, the system will make no more than 150 API calls per minute for the connection.
