Introducing sending Zoom join links via SMS text messages
As of version 4.0, you can now send Zoom join links as SMS text messages to your clients, either as a reminder always sent to all clients for every class or optionally on demand via a BOT BOT - "Send SMS". This new feature gives you a more reliable way to reach your clients vs. email alone.
This is what a SMS text message will look like:
Requirements:
1) SMS provider account: You either need an account with Twilio or CM to be able to send SMS.
Contact us either via chat at apiant.com or email us at support@apiant.com and we will help you connect your Twilio or CM account to your APIANT account.
2) Clients in Mindbody must have enabled the "Reminder and schedule changes" Text option in their Mindbody client profile.
This can either be set by staff or preferable by the client themself.
3) ZoomConnect SMS settings must be configured accordingly:
- Enable SMS notification
- SMS notification provider must be configured to your provider (Twilio or CM).
- SMS notification timing hours must be configured (e.g. 0.5 for 30 min)
You can optionally enable "Add meeting id in sms", "Add password in sms" and "SMS show timezone" settings to add those details to your SMS text messages:
