To publish an item from a development system to a production system, accounts having the "Publish to Production" permission can right-click on items in the catalog and use the Publish option:
Select the destination production system(s):
If a single production system is selected and it has more than one tenant, also choose the destination tenant(s):
If the production system has an account with the same email as the account performing the publishing, the item will be published into that account. Otherwise the item is published into the "admin" account.
Any content in the production system that is older than the published content will be updated!
Assemblies and modules have universally unique UUID identifiers. These UUID's stay the same as content is published across systems.
