Export subroutine

Download a subroutine as a file for transfer to another system, available to users with Export permission.

To export a subroutine as a downloadable file, accounts having the "Export" permission can right-click on a subroutine and choose this menu option:

Your browser will download a file containing the subroutine. This file can later be imported into a system. See Importing an automation

Do not use subroutine exports as an archive mechanism!

New system releases may not support old versions of exported files.
