Guide to manually syncing Mindbody Packages with Shopify Products

This process is a manual setup not included in the automatic synchronization of products and services via ShopConnect. IMPORTANT: It's advisable to exclusively sell Services/Pricing Options and not Products/Merchandise as packages on Shopify. When selling products as packages, Shopify's inventory doesn't decrease, whereas Mindbody's inventory decreases when the order is finalized. For selling products in bundles, we suggest the use of the Shopify Collections feature to group products. Selling as a collection will synchronize inventory reduction in both Shopify and Mindbody upon the sale of the item.



Procedure: For this illustration, we'll consider a package named "Weightlifting class & appointment" with ID number 108, which includes two Mindbody services/pricing options. Step 1: Locate the Package ID number associated with the Mindbody package.

Step 2: Once the Package ID number is found, proceed to update the relevant Shopify product. In our example, the ID number is 108. We input 108 in the SKU field of the Shopify product, while also adding a Product Tag and Type labeled "package". Neglecting to add the TAG to the product will prevent it from being sold on Mindbody.

The Shopify Product is now equipped with all the necessary data for the ShopConnect integration to facilitate the sale of the Package to the Mindbody client profile. Bear in mind, if you decide to cease modifications on a package in Mindbody, it is required to manually adjust the corresponding Shopify products. Furthermore, if a product is no longer in use, it should be deleted from the Shopify store
