CRMConnect: Mindbody and ActiveCampaign Integration - How to Add or Update a MINDBODY Client from ActiveCampaign

With the release of CRMConnect v1.30, you can now push contacts from ActiveCampaign to MINDBODY automatically. This feature allows you to either create a new client in MINDBODY or update an existing one.

How It Works

When a new contact is added in ActiveCampaign, it can be manually entered, submitted through a form, or added via a workflow. To sync this contact with MINDBODY, you need to add a specific contact tag.

Steps to Add or Update a MINDBODY Client

  1. Create or Select a Contact in ActiveCampaign
    • Enter the contact’s details, including name, email, and phone number.
    • Ensure any required fields in MINDBODY (such as birthdate) are filled in ActiveCampaign.
  2. Apply the ActiveCampaign contact Tag
    • The tag to trigger the sync is: updatembo
    • Document image
      
    • This tag can be added:
      • Manually to the contact
      • Automatically via a form submission
      • Through a workflow in ActiveCampaign
  3. MINDBODY Sync Process
    • Once the tag is added, the system will check MINDBODY:
      • If the contact already exists, it updates the details.
      • If the contact does not exist, it creates a new entry in MINDBODY.
    • After the update is complete, the system removes the tag automatically to prevent duplicate updates.
  4. Confirm the Contact in MINDBODY
    • Search for the contact in MINDBODY using the name or email.
    • Verify that the details have been updated or a new record has been created.

Important Notes

  • Ensure Required Fields Are Filled:
    • If MINDBODY requires a birthdate, make sure this field is completed in ActiveCampaign before adding the tag.
    • If missing, the sync will fail. You can either enter the birthdate or change MINDBODY settings to make it optional.
